MUSOKOTWANE Compassion Mission Zambia (MCMZ) is a non-profit organization (NPO) that seeks to
inspire sustainable breakthroughs in the fight against Exploitation of children; Early, Forced and Child
Marriages in Zambia. MCMZ retrieves and prevents girls from early child marriages and provides retrieved
child brides with a safe shelter, basic needs, and education sponsorship. The organization was founded in the
year 2008 in Choma, Zambia with a purpose in mind to work with traditional leaders, government and others
in bridging gaps existing in addressing the problem of early child marriages and exploitation at grassroots
level while inspiring policy direction at national level.
Musokotwane Compassion Mission Zambia was incorporated in the Republic of Zambia as a Non-Profit
Organization (NPO) with certificate of incorporation number 110308 dated 15th March, 2013.
Musokotwane Compassion Mission Zambia is a member organization of the Girls Not Brides, a global
partnership on ending child marriages. The organization is also a chair member organization of the Choma
District Child Online Protection Committee under the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC), and
Zambia Information and Technology Authority (ZICTA). Musokotwane Compassion Mission Zambia is also a
member organization of the District Child Protection Coordinating Committee (DCPCC) under the Ministry of
Community Development and Social Services
